Wiem to na pewno, byłam tatrzańską skałą. Samotnie stałam naprzeciw ciemnoszarej grani. Bardzo chciałam zbliżyć się do niej, to była przecież moja rodzina, ale moja kamienność na to nie pozwalała.
W lecie nie było źle, otaczała mnie górska łąka pełna kwitnących rojników i goryczek, powietrze przesycone było zapachem wygrzanej w słońcu kosodrzewiny. Nazywałam ją – moją. Pszczoły dolatywały na tę wysokość rzadko, ale kiedy już doleciały, zatrzymywały się zdumione bogactwem tego łąkowego stołu.
Za to jesienią, kiedy mgły wypełniały dolinę i tylko mój wierzchołek wystawał ponad snującymi się oparami, rzucałam stęsknione spojrzenia w kierunku pociemniałego z braku słońca muru skalnego. Były w tej postaci razem, a ja byłam sama. Granitowe turnie tuliły się do siebie, szczeliny i pęknięcia, nawisy i wgłębienia tworzyły wspólną niezwykle dekoracyjną szatę zwierzchnią. Kiedy padał deszcz drobnymi rowkami spływały miniaturowe wodospadziki, a zimą śnieg gromadził się i lodowaciał. Granitowa szata przeobrażała się w srebrzystą suknię wieczorową. Ach, jak im wtedy zazdrościłam.
