Uczestnicy projektu Saga – warsztaty kreatywnego pisania, uczestniczyli w dwugodzinnych, otwartych warsztatach pisarskich podczas Festiwalu Conrada w dniu 26 października (czwartek) w Pawilonie Wyspiańskiego przy ul. Franciszkańskiej 2.
Grupę warsztatową poprowadziła Pani Katarzyna Kubisiowska, jedna z wykładowczyń projektu Saga odbywającego się w Willi Decjusza. Rozważania wokół tego „Gdzie biją źródła pisarskiej wyobraźni” było tematem przewodnim spotkania. Podczas warsztatów uczestnicy dyskutowali o trwającym Festiwalu Conrada. Wysłuchali spostrzeżeń Pani Katarzyny Kubisiowskiej po spotkaniu z Krzysztofem Globiszem, które miało miejsce podczas festiwalu. Uczestnicy wspominali też o innych gościach, między innymi Oldze Tokarczuk. Prowadząca zachęcała do uczestnictwa w spotkaniu z uznaną powieściopisarką Siri Hustvedt, które było zaplanowane w przedostatni dzień festiwalu. Goście otwartych warsztatów mieli możliwość aktywnego uczestnictwa w warsztatach i wraz z grupą Sagi zaprezentować własne próby literackie. Mogli również dowiedzieć się, że wyobraźnia pisarska rodzi się głównie w języku, a jej glebą jest również erudycja i autobiografizm. Była to wspaniała okazja do zaistnienia uczestników projektu SAGA w odmiennej przestrzeni i prezentacji warsztatów w nietypowej, otwartej formule.
Organizatorem wydarzenia było Stowarzyszenie Willa Decjusza oraz Krakowskie Biuro Festiwalowe.
