Miałam 17 lat i żadnych butów na obcasie. I zdarzyło się. Pewnego razu mój o 10 lat starszy brat przyniósł do domu eleganckie pudło i wręczył mi je. Otworzyłam i oczy zaświeciły mi się z radości. Widziałam, że spod cienkiej bibułki wyłania się mały obcas. Były to modne wówczas tzw. „kaczuszki”. Pasowały jak ulał, zamszowe czarne z filuternie zawiązaną kokardką z przodu bucika.
A właśnie zbliżał się karnawał i zabawa w męskim liceum. Marzyłam o takich bucikach. Już się widziałam, jak lekko, z dobrze tańczącym kolegą, wirujemy wokół całej auli, a potem po skosie i znowu... Te pierwsze buciki na małym obcasie służyły mi długo. Niemniej największe wzięcie miałam na innej zabawie tego karnawału, mając na nogach pospolite trzewiki z białymi sznurówkami.
